We explored our DISC profiles to enhance communications and understanding of diverse work styles.

Accounting
Behind every hard hat and heavy equipment is a powerhouse team making it all financially possible. From processing invoices and managing subcontractor payments to keeping contracts accurate and payroll right down to the last dollar, they do it all with precision and grace under pressure. No project gets built without the financial foundation they create every single day.

Human Resources
Our HR, Training, and Office Admin team is the heartbeat of our company culture — and the backbone of our day-to-day operations. From recruiting top talent and onboarding new team members to supporting employees through every stage of their career, they make sure our people feel valued, supported, and set up for success. Our training programs ensure our teams are always growing and equipped with the skills to perform at their best. And our front desk coordinators and office admins? They’re the first face you see and the last detail that gets handled — keeping our offices running like well-oiled machines so everyone else can focus on building. They’re the reason Samet feels like more than just a place to work.

Legal
Our Legal team works tirelessly behind the scenes to protect our companies and keep every deal, contract, and commitment on solid ground. They navigate complexity with confidence, ask the hard questions, and make sure we move forward the right way — every time. Construction moves fast, and they make sure we never outrun our integrity.
Marketing + BD
Our Marketing and Business Development team does more than tell our story — they help write the next chapter. From brand strategy, content creation, and photography to crafting compelling proposals that win work, they shape how the world sees Samet and fuel our growth. Behind every project we land is someone who researched the opportunity, built the relationship, and put together a proposal that made us stand out. And their database work keeps our contacts, history, and pipeline organized so we’re always ready for what’s next.

Preconstruction
Our Preconstruction team brings projects to life before a single shovel hits the ground. From early-stage budgeting and estimating to value engineering and scope development, they lay the strategic foundation that sets every project up for success. They ask the right questions early, find the opportunities others miss, and make sure our teams walk into every project with clarity and confidence. The work they do before construction begins is what makes everything after it possible.

Operations
Our Operations team is where the vision becomes reality. From the field to the project management office, these women are out there every single day making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality. They lead crews, manage complexity, solve problems before anyone else even sees them coming, and hold the whole operation together with expertise and resolve. Whether they’re on a jobsite navigating the unexpected or coordinating the moving pieces of a complex project from behind the scenes, they bring the kind of leadership that earns respect and gets results. Construction is demanding — and they meet every challenge head-on, raising the bar for what great looks like at Samet.

women’s history month
March has been a full and meaningful month for our Women@Work ERG, and we’re so proud of how our ladies showed up — both in the community and for each other.
tribute to women center
Women in Construction Week — Appreciation Breakfast To celebrate the incredible women in our industry, the Triad Region hosted an appreciation breakfast at the Tribute to Women Center right here in Greensboro. Attendees got to explore an interactive exhibit highlighting the remarkable trailblazers who passed through Greensboro at some point in their lives — a powerful reminder of the history we stand on and the legacy we’re continuing to build.
Elon University — Women's History Month Luncheon
Elon University — Women’s History Month Luncheon We had the privilege of sponsoring takeaway gifts for 200 attendees at Elon University’s Women’s History Month Luncheon, which featured a presentation on Charlotte Hawkins Brown, her tribe of female supporters, and the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum in Sedalia, NC. Dr. Brown was a fearless educator and the founder of the Palmer Memorial Institute — one of the most significant African American preparatory schools in the country — and her legacy is right here in our own backyard. It was an honor to be part of an event that brought her story to us.Â
