WOMEN LEADING WOMEN
On October 31st, Women at Work hosted “Women Leading Women: Career Growth, Self-Advocacy, and Everything in Between” with Shannon Harris and KEli Wright.
The takeaway? Leadership isn’t about waiting for permission—it’s about showing up prepared, making your contributions visible, and being intentional about the conversations you have with your managers and mentors.
ANIMAL CARE + CONTROL EVENT
On December 4, 2025, seven members of Charlotte’s Women at Work ERG spent four hours volunteering at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control.
During the visit, volunteers met Mucho, an adoptable dog, and learned about the facility’s incredible scope of work. The experience gave our team meaningful insight into the vital role this facility plays in our community and the dedication required to care for Charlotte’s animals in need.
