FALL PTO PSA
Holiday Season is Approaching!
Over 50 employees have NOT requested any PTO for 2025! NOW is the time to review your PTO balances and requests! Plan ahead, as the major holiday season approaches. This ensures coverage for job sites and employees spending time with their families.
Remember… Failing to Plan, is Planning to Fail!
TIPS
AVOID WORKING ON PTO
— Communicate Proactively: Before taking PTO, have conversations with those covering your job duties and be clear about the expectations.
— Leverage Tools: Utilize your out-of-office emails and clearly communicate your unavailability and a point of contact in your absence.
— Relieve Stress: Take an extra day off to relax and practice some self-care. Pro Tip, don’t tell anyone outside of work you will be off.
— Don’t Overcommit: Be realistic with your time and don’t overfill your calendar during PTO.
— Allow Additional Time: During the holiday season there are more people traveling, shopping, and generally out and about. Allow yourself some extra time for commuting and doing normal life, like going to the grocery store. You will be thankful for your sanity later.
