NOW is the time to review your PTO balances and requests! Time to start collaborating with your teams and job sites to ensure everyone gets some much-needed R&R, while ensuring coverage. Remember… Failing to Plan, is Planning to Fail!

    PTO + PRODUCTIVITY

    There are many studies that indicate employees who utilize their PTO are more rested, creative, and engaged which leads to less stress and burnout. Samet cares about its employee’s well-being and work life balance, so let’s ALL take advantage of our PTO Plan. 

    Take a day off, get creative, active or just relax. I recently took some time off and biked part of the Virginia Creeper Trail, highly recommend. Nature can be a good stress reliever.

    HOW TO REVIEW PTO REQUESTS
    • Login to UKG
    • Go To Myself
    • Expand Benefits
    • Click on PTO Requests

    Here you can see all PTO Requests you have made, please review these requests for accuracy.

    HOW TO REVIEW PTO BALANCE
    • Login to UKG
    • Go To Myself
    • Expand Benefits
    • Click on PTO Plans

    Review your Available Balance and Processed Balance for accuracy. Keep in mind the available balance includes future PTO requests not yet taken.

    Managers / How to approve requests
    • Login to UKG
    • Go To Myself
    • Click on Inbox
    • Your inbox will default to, “To Do” items for a 1-week period
    • Adjust the date range if you have older PTO Requests waiting for approval
    • Click on each PTO request, review, make any comments if needed
    • Then either Approve or Deny the request
    Next Steps
    • Plan and schedule some time off
    • Collaborate with your teams or job sites
    • Reach out to other teams or job sites if coverage is needed
    • COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE – Others don’t know your needs if you don’t communicate your needs!
    • RELAX, HAVE FUN + ENJOY YOUR PTO!
