In GSO, W@W celebrated Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day with a luncheon and job site tour at our Bluford St. Residence Hall project!
This event brought together not only Samet associates but also our design partners from Clark Nexsen and Marlo Interiors, our Owner representatives from NC A&T Office of Engineering and Facilities, and our valued trade partners from Precision Walls, Risa Construction, JED Signs, Sentry Fire Protection, and Cate Services—all of whom are playing a vital role in bringing the Bluford project to life.
It was inspiring to see so many women (and allies!) in the industry come together to celebrate, network, and recognize the impact we’re making in construction. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we’re building more than just structures; we’re building opportunities, connections, and a stronger future for women in this field!
